Description
Russell was born and raised in Atlanta. He graduated from the Westminster Schools as an Alpha-Omega in 1981.
He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts Degree in history from the University of Georgia in 1986. He pursued
courses in the history of historical preservation in Georgia and was instrumental in organizing a walking tour of historic
homes in Athens. After a brief stint working in the marketing department for a multi-national in Sydney, Australia,
Russell returned to Atlanta and earned his MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University in 1991. He then
embarked on a successful 11-year marketing/management/sales career in the telecom/high-tech arena. He has used
all of these skills and experiences to become a multi-million dollar producer with Jenny Pruitt & Associates, and then
Harry Norman, REALTORS®, selling over 150+ million dollars in real estate.
As a native Atlantan, Russell possesses an extensive and in-depth knowledge of many of the area’s neighborhoods,
schools, and attractions. He has insight into Atlanta’s past history and tradition, as well the city’s present and bright
future. He cares deeply for his life long home and the community. Russell is a very outgoing, performance oriented
individual. His far-reaching business experience, strong work ethic, dependability, character, and enthusiasm provide
him the skills necessary to help his clients. Whether you need to locate and purchase a home or list, market and sell
residential properties, Russell always has his client’s best interest in mind.
Russell has been active in the Atlanta Board of REALTORS®, Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the Advisory
Board of Directors of A.G. Rhodes, the Buckhead Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity, Peachtree Road United
Methodist Church, Cherokee Country Club and the Nine O’clocks. Volunteer, Team Captain and #1 fundraiser
for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) Team in Training Cycling Team.
